LTA Trustee Recognition for Linda Griffin

The Library Trustee Association has recognized Ogdensburg Public Library Trustee Linda Griffin. Both the Ogdensburg Library and North Country Library System are incredibly lucky to have her and honored that LTA would recognize her. Head to the LTA website to see more:

"Lin is an exceptional trustee. Her history as an avid library supporter is extensive. She’s served multiple terms on the Ogdensburg Public Library board, including the role of President. She also served on the North Country Library System’s board for many years. She’s been active with the library’s Friends group which includes being a liaison between the Friends group and the board. She actively attends workshops to further her education as a trustee and library supporter. She also advocates for her library on the local level, with the county, and writes and visits state legislators. She’s a dedicated volunteer and sets a good example of what a library trustee should be.

She was also North Country Library System’s Trustee of the Year in 2015.

With both her head and her heart, Lin supports the library financially, intellectually and emotionally."
