RA for your Monday 2/4/19

New month, new lists! Barnes and Noble and has some new fiction, mysteries, and thrillers, the Washington Post has 10 Books to Read in February and Amazon shares its Best Books of the Month.

In genre news, we've got new sci-fi from The Verge, new fantasy from Tor, 11 Crime and Mystery Books from CrimeReads, and all of the romance over at SBTB.

Looking further ahead, Library Journal shares its Editors' Spring Picks. and Harper's Bazaar has 21 New TV Shows to Watch This Spring. (Ah, spring. That time of year my door doesn't freeze shut. And then freeze open.)

In awards news, announcements were made last week for the Andrew Carnegie awards and the Youth Media Awards, which include the Newbery and the Caldecott.

And finally, #MondayReads: I've been spending most of my time over the last few days watching British television and listening to The Good Neighbor: The Life and Work of Fred Rogers, but I also grabbed a few books during my library visit on Saturday, including Kitchen Yarns. One of my favorite books of all time is Home Cooking, by Laurie Colwin, and I'm always looking for readalikes for it. Happy reading/listening!
