New month, new lists!

Barnes and Noble has lists for September's new fiction, mysteries, thrillers, history, and biographies, and for all you romance fans out there, SBTB is here with their picks for the month. (As ever, be sure to read the comments section!)

Elsewhere on the online, The Millions shares their Most Anticipated, Lit Hub has 15 Books You Should Read, and CrimeReads has their top 9 for September.

Bustle has 17 Best Nonfiction Books Coming Out and Lit Hub has nonfiction picks for science and technology - perfect for those of you looking to fill some gaps in your newly weeded ANF section, amirite?

Booklist is putting a spotlight on sports, and more fall lists are hitting the proverbial street, including picks from Amazon, Book Riot, and Vulture. (Looking for even more lists? Check out the September 5 Book Pulse - you may need to log in to Library Journal to see it, but I promise it's worth it!)

Have you voted for The Great American Read yet? You can vote for your favorite every day!

For all you podcast listeners, BuzzFeed has rounded up 31 Podcasts for Every Type of Book Lover.

In readalike news, Off the Shelf has some suggestions for those who loved the Netflix adaptation of The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. (This would also make the beginning of a good display...)

Finally, #FridayReads: Due to a series of home improvement projects that began with a very leaky dishwasher, I've found myself doing a whole lot of spring-style cleaning. Which means that once again, I've realized just how many books are in my house that maybe I should get around to reading - for example, A Year in Provence by Peter Mayle. (This has not, however, stopped me from placing a hold on a cozy library mystery. I am still me, after all.) Happy reading!
