RA for your Friday 9/1/17

New month, new lists!

The Millions has broken out the September titles from their Most Anticipated list, and Barnes and Noble has September mysteries covered.

For all you lovers of romance, my favorite romance blog is ready with their September picks, and B&N has this handy fall preview guide. (And yes! There are holiday books on it! Haul out the holly!)

The latest Booklist is putting a spotlight on sports, and Early Word has an update on TV and film adaptations.

It's a holiday weekend, and the RA for All blog wants you to read what you want to.

This list from Lit Hub of book selections for every state in the union is just plain fun, and frankly, a cool project for someone looking to mix up their reading life. In fact, that'd be a great book club! In fact, I would join that book club. In fact, I AM STARTING THAT BOOK CLUB. Read your way through the fifty states with me. We start in January.

Speaking of book clubs, just a reminder that I'm always looking for recommendations from member libraries for the monthly North Country Book Club feature on InformNNY.com. Contact me for details, if you're interested.

And further speaking of book clubs, look for three new Book Club in a Bag titles this month: Behold the Dreamers, by Imbolo Mbue, The Sisters Brothers by Patrick deWitt, and The Gene: An Intimate History, by Siddhartha Mukherjee.

Finally, #FridayReads: I've been slowly working my way through A Gentleman in Moscow and loving every page. This weekend I plan to make a larger dent than usual. Happy reading!
