RA for your Friday 3/1/19

New month, new lists! Now, because today is the very first day of the new month, not all of the lists are out yet, but still! Let's start with what we've got, shall we?

Amazon has Best Books of March, The Washington Post has 10 Books to Read this month, and Goodreads has March's Hottest New Releases.

In genre news, we've got 14 Crime Novels from CrimeReads, March's New Releases from SBTB, lists for Fiction and Mysteries from Barnes and Noble, and Booklist's spotlight on historical fiction.

(In a genre sidebar, check out this blog post from RA for All about putting Bizarro fiction on your radar and this one about Cli-Fi...)

In nonfiction corner, Oprah Magazine takes a look at titles coming in 2019, and in book club news, the March pick for Now Read This (the PBS News Hour/New York Times Book Club) is Naomi Alderman's The Power.

Lots of awards news today; we've got finalists for the Audies and the LA Times Book Prize AND the Bram Stoker Awards!

In fun group project news, Rebecca Donnelly is looking for your favorite travel-themed stories for children, teens, and adults to share with NCPR. The titles can be fiction or nonfiction, and the deadline is March 15. Think of it as a staff picks display that we all work on together!

Finally, #FridayReads: I made exactly zero progress in my reading life last weekend, so I'll try to pick up where I left off with Bowlaway. I did, however, watch all of Russian Doll, which I highly recommend. (And I'm not linking out to it; the less you know going in, the better.) Happy reading!
